Best Tech.Ed I have attended so far
For approximately half the week I was working the Microsoft Springboard booth which is the ultimate destination for technical resources, free tools and expert guidance to ease the deployment and management of your Windows client infrastructure (Windows 7, Office 2010/2007 and Internet Explorer), the rest of my time I am split between sessions so that i have learnt more from that tech ed.
I have also noticed that during the week, Microsoft will be co-hosting with tech-ed the –Business Intelligence Conference 2010 this conference focuses on Microsoft’s Business Intelligence applications and how Microsoft can help you design, build and deploy robust Business Intelligence applications for everyone in your organization while controlling costs.
In Business Intelligence Track learnt how to provide transparency, accountability, alignment, and collaboration across departments while displaying critical business information. Discover how to enable end users to perform self-service analysis and intuitively build their own BI solutions. Realize how customers are using products to improve their businesses with in-depth discussions. The Virtualization track covered all aspects of virtualization to address the current demands on IT professionals looking to virtualize their environment. Learn how Microsoft® is making it easier to deploy private clouds based on the Windows Server®, Hyper-V™, and System Center stack. Understand the overall Microsoft Virtualization strategy and its connection to Microsoft’s end-to-end, desktop to datacenter to cloud capabilities. Experience Microsoft products in this space, including Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft Hyper-V Server, Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft VDI Suite, Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V), and Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V) as well as the Microsoft System Center family of products.
